The word Acuity means sharpness or keenness of thought, vision or hearing (think “visual acuity” for pronunciation). This name was formed out of the recognition that many organizations don’t see HR clearly and don’t understand its importance. HR is not the dumping grounds for people problems or huggy/fluffy people you outsource caring to.
The true purpose of HR is to maximize the contribution of people to achieve the goals of the organization. Our team is built by professionals who share our vision and have led the HR function for award winning organizations.
We hire the best of the best and all share a sense of fun and drive that helps us deliver an exceptional standard of client service. Our work gives us immense purpose, and being in the Exchange District feeds our love for our vibrant city, sushi and wine!
“Acuity’s take on leadership development is refreshing. Their Intentional Leadership program validated what I’m doing right, highlighted areas of personal growth opportunities and provided useful, easy to apply practices that I’m actively working at back on the job.”
- Morgan Johnson - HR Manager, ARTIS REIT
“We are a strong believer in operating lean, so managers and staff wear a lot of hats. Acuity was the right choice for us to strengthen our culture, develop policies and procedures and advise us on HR matters.”
- Daniel Golub - General Manager, HIPPO CMMS
“The work that Acuity has done for us, including policy development, training, resolving employee relations issues and strategic HR development has moved us forward in a profound way.”
- Camilla Holland - Executive Director, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre
